Georgiev + Miller is an architectural design practice working across Shetland and the central belt. We take domestic and small-scale projects from initial concept through to building warrant approval — the point at which they are ready to build — on a fixed fee agreed at the outset. No VAT.

Our fees are not subject to VAT, so the figure quoted is the figure payable.
Concluding at warrant stage
Because we take projects to warrant approval rather than running the build, our fees are considerably lower than a full-service architect for the same technical package.
Experienced across the board
Around forty years of combined experience, across hundreds of completed projects at every scale — from single extensions through new-build housing to commercial developments and BESS. Every project gets a sound technical package with well-considered layouts.
Full national coverage
Calum is based in Shetland and Georgi in Falkirk, with Georgi travelling north regularly — giving genuine coverage of both the islands and the central belt.

Calum M. Miller
BSc (Hons) Architectural Technology
25 years in the construction sector. Began as an apprentice building technologist before studying at Edinburgh Napier University, followed by ten years as Senior Architectural Manager at Mactaggart & Mickel prior to founding the practice. Specialises in new-build housing, site design, BESS developments, domestic extensions and conversions.
Georgi Georgiev
BSc (Hons) Architectural Technology
Approximately 15 years' experience, holding the same degree from Edinburgh Napier University. Specialises in commercial development, surveying, architectural visualisation, technical design, domestic extensions and conversions.
